Debuting Author

Whereas many dream of becoming writers from an early age, Lori began crafting later in life – when the first story came to her in the form of a dream. Her debut novel, A Sweet Pea in Baltimore, made the semi-finalist stage of the Eludia Award 2019 sponsored by Hidden River Arts.

Lori was born in North Vancouver and raised on a ranch near Princeton, British Columbia. She has a bachelor’s degree in science with a specialization in dental hygiene. Red Deer, Alberta, is home for Lori, her husband, Brent, and their two adult children, Michael and Olivia. Lori’s hobbies include working out with a personal trainer, hiking in the Rocky Mountains with her husband, and going on coffee dates with friends.
